Scouted Media is a nonprofit organization based in Ottawa, Ontario, dedicated to making it easier for people to discover independent news and helping independent journalists sustain their work.

We operate Scouted News, a digital news aggregation platform that automatically surfaces relevant independent reporting based on a user's location. Scouted News is available on the web and on both Android and iOS, connecting audiences with trustworthy, diverse, and locally relevant journalism.
